The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has been a failure for working people across all three North American countries. The NAFTA “objectives” are supposed to set the course for a new and improved NAFTA that works for people like us. But they read like a repeat of the same failed trade objectives from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Don’t let this be a missed opportunity. I urge you to ensure that the new NAFTA prioritizes working people by encouraging higher wages and the freedom to join together and negotiate for a better life.
