Allow Fishermen to Sell Fresh, Sustainably Harvested Seafood Direct to Sausalito Consumers

Sausalito City Council

The most salty Sausalitans among us are NOT allowed to sell their sustainably harvested seafood directly to consumers due to over 40 year old outdated regulations. These archaic rules prevent consumers from directly purchasing seafoods from our local fishman. Let's support our few remaining hard working fisherman, cut out middlemen, and ensure access to fresh, high-quality seafood. Let’s advocate for change and support our local fishermen by allowing them to sell directly to the public!

Dear Sausalito City Council —

We, the citizens, fishermen and business owners of Sausalito, request an amendment to our City's antiquated zoning laws which prevent fishermen from selling their catch directly to the public. Please help us make this a reality.

Sincerely,
The SSWA and the Citizens of Sausalito
