Amend K.S.A. 2-3908. Expand the hemp industry.

Kansas House and Senate

Sandstone Care

It's currently illegal in the state of Kansas to sell any consumable hemp product. This is keeping a choke-hold on an industry that has the potential to make an economic impact in our state.

The only hemp products that should be restricted are those that contain more than the federally allowed .3% delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol.

Dear Esteemed House and Senate,

As you work through our much-needed medical marijuana bill, please consider these changes to the Kansas Hemp Bill, specifically K.S.A. 2-3908 and the regulation of sellable hemp products. The impact on our local farms and businesses would be great, and effect change in current disputes bringing strife to local businesses brought about by District Attorney Derek Schmidt.

Please pass the much-needed amendment immediately so that Kansas farmers can benefit from this crop and small businesses can function without fear of search and seizure.

Respectfully,
Your constituent
