America's Test Kitchen staff deserve fair and competitive wages!

Daniel Suratt, CEO

We are the cooks, writers, editors, photographers, videographers, web developers, designers, production specialists, shoppers, on-screen talent, and more who bring America's Test Kitchen's mission to life. In July 2022, we voted overwhelmingly to form a union to represent the best interests of ATK staff, and we are currently negotiating our first contract.

ATK senior leadership has repeatedly refused to raise wages to levels that are commensurate with the high cost of living in Boston and in line with our competitors. We love our work, but our salaries have always been egregiously low, and a significant percentage of us could not afford to work at ATK without supplemental income, either from second jobs, our families, or our partners. Many of our colleagues are forced to make continued sacrifices due to insufficient resources.

Please join us in demanding that ATK senior leadership recognize the worth of their employees and their invaluable contributions to the company by paying them fair and competitive wages that allow them to live with dignity.

If you subscribe to ATK's magazines or website, watch our TV shows, or buy our cookbooks, please include that information in the comments with your signature! Tell senior leadership that you value our content AND the individuals who produce it.

Thank you in advance for SIGNING and SHARING our petition!

I support ATK staff in their fight for fair and competitive wages!

ATK employees deserve salaries that are commensurate with the high cost of living in Boston; are in line with ATK’s competitors; and reflect the value employees bring to the company and the excellent content they create.

I ask Senior Leadership to come to the bargaining table ready to acknowledge their employees’ worth and provide them with salaries that allow them to live with dignity.
