Ask Urbandale City Council to Reconsider the Buc-ee’s Rezoning

The Urbandale City Council recently voted to deny a rezoning request associated with a proposed Buc-ee’s development in Urbandale.
We believe a project of this size deserves further consideration because of its potential impact on economic development, jobs, commercial investment, and the city’s tax base.
This petition is not asking the City Council to approve every detail of the project without review. We are asking the Council to reconsider its decision, continue discussions with the applicant, and determine whether concerns raised during the rezoning process can be addressed.
Urbandale residents who support reconsideration are especially encouraged to sign. Supporters from outside Urbandale may also sign, but resident responses will be tracked separately so the City Council can clearly see the level of support from within the community.
