Donald Trump’s presidency turned out to be every bit as dangerous and divisive as we feared. The rhetoric of his campaign, and his early executive orders, have sparked a wave of fear and hatred. Those who are often already marginalized and discriminated against have been particular targets for Trump.

Trump and Trumpism are a direct threat to tackle climate change, fighting discrimination, inequality, peace, and disarmament. When the world needed more solidarity, more cooperation, and a greater commitment to justice, he proposed to build walls and wants to turn us against each other.

Trumpism has taken over our state. We have candidates trying to out Trump each other. We cannot just oppose Trump but we must oppose the ideals that Trumpism stands for. That is why we are united fighting together to protect our Democracy and our country.
