Bipartisan Effort to Draft Bernie Sanders to Run for President as an Independent (if need be)

UPDATE: As elections move at lightening speeds, and pivot decisions need to be made also with lightening speed, we need to show EACH OTHER & BERNIE THAT WE HAVE THE NUMBERS TO WIN COME NOVEMBER SOONER rather than later. This is why we launched this petition before the primaries are over, though with Bernie already acting as our most worthy Commander in Chief in regards to the coronavirus, we can still win the Dem Nom if we volunteer for Bernie right now by making phone calls to voters, liking Bernie's personal social media page(s), sharing his messaging, DONATING, and asking everyone else to do the same. END UPDATE. Now for the petition...
The seemingly dualistic two party system is increasingly becoming two sides of one coin serving the political and corporate elite and billionaire class that ignores the basic human needs of everyday Americans.
A whooping 10% of voters identify as Independents over either of the two mainstream parties (Republican or Democrat). As it only takes about 3% of voters to shift an election, data suggests that the largest voting block in America who have consistently identified as Independents, actually determine the outcome of America's elections, not Democrats or Republicans. This data also suggests that if Americans were to unite around the longest standing Independent in American Politics, which happens to be United States Senator, Bernie Sanders, that everyday American's can finally be set free from the "Us verse Them" stranglehold, of the two party system that has erroneously been created to keep Americans from uniting as everyday working class people. This stranglehold has ultimately prevented the 99.9 % from voting in our own best interests, voting instead to benefit the top tenth of the top 1% who dominate and control us; the multimillionaire and multibillionaire classes.
The 99.9% pay for everything in our country. We therefore need a president who will ensure our tax dollars are directed, first and foremost towards, Medicare for All, Affordable Housing, Clean Water, Clean Food, Affordable and Sustainable Energy Systems, and Good Paying Jobs that support a habitable and thriving planet.
One of the main reasons Americans are unsure about whether or not Bernie can win come November, is that the billionaire class own 90% of the Mainstream Media News outlets including TV, Cable, Newspaper, and Radio, and these entities have consistently shown a huge bias against Bernie Sander's Campaign. In 2016 these media giants gave Bernie 20 seconds of airtime compared to 327 minutes,
or close to one-third of all the campaign coverage to Trump, and 121 minutes to Hillary. These same media moguls are now overplaying Biden's success while downplaying Bernie's success because they know a Biden Presidency will result in the same old "business as usual" status quo system that has only caused to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Election year rhetoric is shallow, whereas Bernie's message and actions have been consistent throughout his 50 years of championing his grassroots leadership as an Independent politician.
With the current pandemic we are experiencing it has become clear that we are only as safe as the least insured among us. Bernie's platform is a campaign that not only addresses the needs of the working class people but ensures that the most vulnerable among us, including our ever growing homeless population, the sick, elderly, veteran, and minority groups are guaranteed to live a full life based upon equality, fairness, and dignity.
Last and certainly not least the 99.9% of Americans are fed up with footing the bill for a system that increasingly results in unnecessary deaths, supports a biased and racist criminal "justice" system that disproportionately affects Black, Latino, and Native American communities, and consistently risks millions of peoples lives. Globally, we want fair trade, not free trade, ensuring a sustainable planet where all people everywhere are able to live healthy and prosperous lives.
All of the above and more is what United States Senator Sanders proposes as his vision for a new and morally driven America. It is with this knowing that We the People of the United States implore Senator Sanders to run as an Independent come November.
