I am writing to express my outrage that The Watergate Hotel decided to host the war criminal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu is in DC at the invitation of the US Congress, but directly against the will of the hundreds of thousands who have consistently protested against the US-orchestrated and Israel-executed genocide of the Palestinian people. Using weapons paid for by the American people, Netanyahu has killed at least 186,000 people in Gaza and is currently facing an imminent arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

By hosting a war criminal, The Watergate is actively choosing blood-soaked money over basic respect for human rights. You have shown how little your hotel values Palestinian lives. Unless you revoke his stay, issue a public apology, and commit to never hosting perpetrators of the genocide of Palestinians, I will be boycotting your hotel and encouraging others to do the same.
