Call on Lum Yip Kee to divest from genocide and sever ties with Lockheed Martin!

Wing Tek Lum (Vice Chairman), Tan Tek Lum (Chairman), Jeffery Lum (President & CEO), and Melissa Lum (Vice President, COO)

Lum Yip Kee LTD, a local real estate company, is renting to Lockheed Martin in Highlands Ranch (Littleton), Colorado. LYKʻs investment in Lockheed Martin incentivizes the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. This is due to Lockheed Martinʻs strong ties with the zionist entity of israel, dating back to the 1980s. In this moment, 80% of the aircraft weaponry israel needs to carry out its murderous campaign to ethnically cleanse Palestinians and displace them from their lands is supplied by Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martinʻs complicity is made possible through their ability to maintain business as usual. As landlords, LYK possess the power to terminate Lockheed Martinʻs lease at Highland Ranch, effectively weakening their ability to survive as a company. Over the past year, the Denver Anti-War Action Group has organized with their beloved community to shut down their local Lockheed Martin offices by trying to create dialogue with LYK LTD. So far, their communityʻs effort has been met with silence. The people of DAWA have called upon us to help break this shameful silence. As people of Hawai‘i, we have the power to hold Lum Yip Keeʻs board members accountable for their refusal to meet with DAWA members and hear out their demands to terminate Lockheed Martinʻs lease in their community. By signing this petition, you are demanding that Lum Yip Kee divest from genocide and invest in life, community, and genuine safety.

From: [Your Name]

First we must introduce ourselves. We are Jewish Voice for Peace Hawai‘i, a grassroots organization comprised of anti-zionist jews and allies alike who stand in opposition to the rampant human rights abuses brought on by the wounds of western imperialism here in Hawai‘i as well as Palestine, Congo, the United States, Sudan, and the endless places we do not name in this letter to you. We write to you outraged and heartbroken by Israelʻs ongoing US backed genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. For over 20 months, we have borne witness to the merciless massacre of innocent men, women, and children. Each day, as families are starved to death, shredded by artillery, and killed due to a near total deprivation of medical aid; we fight to hold accountable the people with the power to end this grotesque and unspeakable acts of violence.

Several months ago we were approached by members of the Denver Anti-War Action group. They made us aware of your relationship to the company Lockheed Martin and their efforts to reach out to you with their demand to terminate the lease you maintain with the company. To hear that you have completely ignored their requests for a meeting is beyond disappointing, as it tells us that your board is more concerned with profit than the livelihood of millions in Palestine and in the Highlands Ranch Community. We write to you as members of your local community to demand that you engage with Denver Anti-war Action's previous communication requests for a meeting at once. You must hold a meeting with them and hear out their reasoning as to why your company is in a vital position to hold Lockheed Martin accountable for its crimes against humanity and terminate your lease with them. The longer you fail to do so you incriminate yourselves as protectors of needless death, starvation, and traumatization of the Palestinian people. It is imperative to add that we write to you with these demands as the United Nations has explicitly named Lockheed Martin as a company complicit in genocide. We hope that you find this petition as sufficient evidence to communicate with Denver Anti-war Action and terminate your lease with Lockheed Martin. Please respond by September 8th, 2025 or we will assume there will be no response.

Free Palestine,
the undersigned
