Call on NM Congresspeople to Purge Palantir

U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan, U.S. Representative Teresa Leger-Fernandez, U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury and U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez

Palantir Technologies – the AI company co-founded by right-wing billionaires Peter Thiel and Alex Karp—is notorious for mass surveillance, deportation enforcement, predictive policing, military targeting systems, and aggressive pro‑war stances. Palantir exports its deadly technologies to nefarious entities, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), some U.S. police departments, and the Israeli government to aid and abet the ongoing Genocide against the Palestinian people, in support of U.S/Israeli expansionist and imperialist policies in the region.

As concerned citizens of New Mexico, we have discovered that Palantir Technologies – the AI company co-founded by right-wing billionaires Peter Thiel and Alex Karp-- colludes with ICE, the Israeli government, and some U.S. police departments to surveil and target civilians, activists, and immigrant communities at home and abroad, including for incarceration and deportation, without due process and in violation of our constitutional rights.

Palantir's technology is being used to abduct our neighbors and to commit genocide in Gaza. Further, considering that NM’s population is 10% immigrants, our congressional delegation should not be engaged with a corporation that is actively helping to target our neighbors and family members for incarceration and abusive treatment.
OUR DEMANDS:
· We urge Sen. Heinrich to immediately return the approximate $31,000 in donations that his campaign received from Palantir Technologies’ employees and PACs.
· We urge all of you to sign the PLEDGE TO REJECT CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PALANTIR (https://forms.gle/5atz3zkf4Hut5Rpd6), which states that you will refuse funds in any form -- currently and in the future -- from C-Suite employees, PACs and anyone else connected to Palantir Technologies. So far, Colorado’s Sen. John Hickenlooper and 11 other Congresspeople have taken the pledge (see ICE-Cold Cash: Members of Congress Took More than $1.7 Million from ICE Contractors - In These Times).
· We request that you reply to us within two weeks to: PurgePalantir.Gaza2NM@proton.me
