Stop Denying Care. Put People Over Profits.

A patient’s care should be decided by them and their medical professionals—not insurance corporations. Yet private insurers routinely deny and delay treatments, medications, and procedures, putting profit over people’s health. This must end.

We demand that insurance companies and elected officials take immediate action to:
- End Insurance Industry Abuses
- Ban prior authorization denials. No one should be forced to wait—or be denied—the care their doctor prescribes.
- Ban step therapy. Patients should not be forced to take cheaper, less effective medicines before accessing the treatment their doctors know they need.
- Cover the cost of recommended care and pay providers promptly, instead of sticking patients with unaffordable bills.
- Put People Over Profits
- Hold insurers accountable. Health care should be about outcomes, not corporate greed or Wall Street profits.
- Stop overcharging Medicare and other public programs. End profiteering by private insurance corporations.
- Protect and expand Medicare and Medicaid. Eliminate Medicare Advantage and managed care organizations that profit off public money while denying care to people who need it.
- Refuse corporate money. Elected officials must reject political contributions and donations from private insurance companies.

Our health care system is broken. Every year, insurers deny care hundreds of millions of times—causing people to get sicker, fall into debt, or even face bankruptcy. This is not care. It is corporate violence.

We deserve a system that puts people’s health first. We, the undersigned, demand: Stop denying care. Put people over profits.
