On September 9, 2026, Swampscott based landlord Carson Shore made a Lynn mom and her kids homeless in a needless eviction that seems to be as illegal as it is immoral. The family that was thrown out of their home includes a five month old infant. [UPDATE: a judge has now ordered that the family be allowed to move back into their apartment in West Lynn.]

This tenant has lived in the home for seven years. She did not owe any rent. It seems this eviction was likely motivated by your desire to drastically increase rents soon after purchasing the building.
It is obscene to traumatize children in search of profit, and we demand that you stop these kinds of cruel evictions.
We do not want out of town absentee landlords from wealthy areas coming to working class communities to exploit and mistreat people, seeking maximum profit at the expense of the stability of our neighborhoods and the well-being of our people.
