Celebrate Workers. Raise the Minimum Wage to $15.

The Vermont Legislature

In Vermont and across the country, our middle class is declining. One reason is that the minimum wage has not kept pace with rising out-of-pocket costs.

As an organic farmer and small business owner, David Zuckerman knows how important it is for workers to earn a living wage. But he also recognizes how hard it is for a single business to go it alone while their competitors do not raise wages.

Please, stand with David Zuckerman today and call on the Vermont legislature to raise the minimum wage to a living wage of $15 an hour.

In January, Vermont’s minimum wage will increase to $10 an hour. Sadly, this is far below a living wage – what a family needs to meet their basic needs. Please, pass a $15 minimum wage and ensure that no one working 40 hours a week in our state lives in poverty.
