We are writing on behalf of residents of South Jersey to respectfully request that you consider Tim Alexander as a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey.
Tim Alexander brings a unique and valuable combination of professional experience to public service. His background as a law enforcement officer, assistant district attorney, prosecutor, and civil rights attorney has given him firsthand insight into public safety, the criminal justice system, the rule of law, and the protection of civil rights. This breadth of experience provides him with an important perspective on the challenges facing our communities and the people of our state.

As residents of South Jersey, we believe it is important that our state's leadership reflect a broad range of experiences and understand the concerns of communities throughout New Jersey, including those in the southern part of our state. As you are aware, North and South Jersey are often worlds apart. Having someone who understands the unique issues of South Jersey would be an invaluable asset to your administration. We need leaders who understand the importance of equal justice, fairness, accountability, integrity and ensuring that every resident has an opportunity to be heard.

Tim Alexander's professional background brings together perspectives from law enforcement, prosecution, and civil rights advocacy as well as commitment to people and community. While running for Congress in CD2, Tim developed a commonsense platform to address the issues facing our communities without raising taxes. We believe that this combination of experience and commitment would offer valuable insight to your administration and could help strengthen the relationship between government and the diverse communities it serves.
