Stop the Execution of Darrell Draughn in Louisiana

Darrell Draughn was convicted in Louisiana for the 2000 murder of Lauretta White. His May 2025 execution date has been stayed for now, but please continue to take action on his behalf.

The State of Louisiana recently began a resumption of executions after not having had one in 15 years. By scheduling an execution at this time, the state is now an outlier in its use of the death penalty while the majority of other states are on a downward trend away from executions.

Please sign the petition asking Governor Jeff Landry to do everything within his power to stop this execution, including issuing a stay, and seeking a path to clemency in the case.
