Paid circulators, many of whom don’t even live in Ohio, are trying to mislead Ohio voters into signing a petition by saying it will abolish property taxes.

This proposal is dangerous, deceptive and will defund our teachers, firefighters, nurses, police, and other frontline public service heroes.

It will decimate our communities that we love and support.

It is also an attack on collective bargaining rights for frontline heroes like the school bus driver or the bridge inspector, or the people who teach our children, respond to emergencies in our community, care for our sick and elderly, and keep our neighborhoods safe. In fact, it is the worst attack on collective bargaining rights since Senate Bill 5.

And do you really believe this will lower your taxes? No way. This will actually increase your tax burden.

This is a trick. Don’t fall for it.

When these paid circulators approach you, don’t trust them.

Decline to sign and tell them to stop trying to hurt your community and our state.
