The violence inflicted on Palestinians overseas by the Israeli government is inextricably linked to the brutality carried out here at home by ICE and CBP. Both agencies function as tools of oppression, enforcing borders, breaking up families, and perpetuating violence against working-class people on behalf of the ruling class. For too long, both major parties in the US have funded these atrocities domestically and abroad.

We refuse to be complicit any longer. We recognize that real change will not come from simply hoping politicians will do the right thing; they must face a credible electoral threat. To that end, we are building a movement of principled voters committed to holding our elected officials accountable.

I join the North Central Valley DSA in pledging the following:

I will withhold my vote from any and all electoral candidates in the 2026 Midterm Elections and beyond unless they explicitly pledge to fight on behalf of the workers of the world by:

Voting for a permanent funding and arms embargo on the state of Israel.

Voting to defund and abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

If a politician wants my vote, they must commit to Defunding, Disarming, and Dismantling these institutions of state violence. We will not be silenced, and we will not be bought off by empty gestures. We are building an independent, nationwide solidarity network of voters that answers to the working class, not the imperialist war machine.
