Demand Josh Riley Block the Bombs

Congressman Josh Riley, NY, District 19

We oppose giving more weapons to Israel. We want an end to the genocide and the apartheid system enabled by U.S. support, so we’re demanding that Josh Riley cosponsor H.R.3565, the Block the Bombs Act.

Since October 2023, the U.S. has given more than $30 billion in taxpayer-funded weapons to Israel, actively funding the genocide of our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Despite the ceasefire, Israel continues its genocidal violence by murdering and starving Palestinians, stealing their homes and land. With over 65,000 documented deaths, including at least 20,000 children, and many more bodies under the rubble, the killing has not stopped. On June 5, Representatives Delia Ramirez, Sara Jacobs, Pramila Jayapal, and Mark Pocan, along with 18 colleagues, publicly announced the introduction of a bill in Congress to block the bombs.

By introducing this bill, Members of Congress are proactively trying to block the Trump administration from delivering major US weapons to Israel–bombs, tank rounds, and artillery shells–which it continues to use on Palestinians. Polls show that the overwhelming majority of Americans want to stop the flow of these deadly weapons.

It’s imperative that Josh Riley’s constituents publicly demonstrate the desire for Palestinian protections and an end to the nightmare coming from Israel and enabled by the United States.

We must hold politicians to account by making our voices heard through clear demands and amplifying the voting records of our elected officials.

We oppose giving more weapons to Israel. We want an end to the genocide and the apartheid system enabled by U.S. support, so we’re demanding that Josh Riley cosponsor H.R.3565, the Block the Bombs Act.
