Do not cancel Lorde's Florida concerts because of anti-free speech laws!

Amalie Arena, the Tampa Sports Authority, American Airlines Arena and the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority

International pop star Lorde is scheduled to perform in Tampa, Florida on April 11th and Miami, Florida on April 12th for thousands of adoring fans.

But Florida politicians are now trying to pressure Tampa and Miami to cancel these concerts.

Why?

In 2016, the Florida legislature passed an anti-free speech law that unconstitutionally blocks state or local governments from conducting business exceeding $1 million with any organization engaged in a boycott of Israel. A similar law in Kansas was recently ruled to be unconstitutional by a U.S. federal court.

In December 2017, Lorde canceled a planned concert in Israel in solidarity with the Nobel Peace Prize nominated Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement for Palestinian rights.

So now anti-free speech politicians are trying to punish Lorde for standing up for Palestinian rights!

Defend free speech and human rights in Florida.
