Don’t Let Magnum Destroy Ben & Jerry’s

Along with great ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s was built to be an activist campaigner for justice – from racial equity to climate action to human rights.

The activism has stayed strong because of Ben & Jerry’s Independent Board of Directors, which has legal authority for that social mission.

But B&J’s new owner, The Magnum Corporation, will not tolerate “controversial” stands. So it is using heavy-handed tactics to dismantle the Independent Board.

Stand with Ben, the co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, and demand that Magnum restore the independent Board of Directors and transfer ownership to a group that will protect Ben & Jerry’s social mission.
