ELECTRIFY Verde Valley and Sedona Fleets NOW!

Various institutions such as schools and local goverments to fleet electrify now!

Fleet Electrification Petition. Please sign up on the right. Please review the demands further down. Thank you for being so supportive.

Transportation by gasoline-powered vehicles is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in Northern Arizona. Fleet electrification will save dollars in maintenance and fuel costs and protect human health from toxic exhaust. Without these measures being implemented immediately, towns, cities, and regions will not reach their goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Benefits of Electric Vehicles

Less expensive to drive (equivalent to over 200 MPG)

Lower Noise Pollution

No Tailpipe emissions (driving and idling)

Lower Repair Costs (fewer parts)

Faster Acceleration (fun to drive)

Significant Rebates (even $7,500)

- We are calling on institutions in the Sedona and Verde Valley to transition to electric buses, cars, and trucks immediately.
--The institutions in need of fleet electrfication include regional and local governments, school districts, and waste disposal services.

Electrifying vehicle fleets throughout the county is a straightforward way to bring Yavapai or Coconino county one big step closer to net-zero emissions. This is because there is so much clean electricity being built now. We have 1,424 megawatts (MW) of wind and solar power installed or built by 2024. This already includes the 99 MW Perrin Ranch Wind Power plant, the 127 MW Dry Lake Hills Wind Power plant, the 161 MW of Wind Power and 60-80 MW of Solar Power being built now by Babbitt Ranches, the 477 MW Wind Power plant being built at Chevelon Butte, and the 480 MW of Solar Power that will be built by 2024 on the Babbitt Ranches.

The time for action is now; we cannot afford to wait.
