EPA: Set Real Standards for C-8

Environmental Protection Agency

The EPA is supposed to set standards for pollution, but they're failing America's families.

Recent studies say C-8 levels in water should be 0.001 parts per billion. But, current EPA guidelines only require less than 0.07 parts per billion - that's a difference of 7000%!

These guidelines are a matter of life and death. And it's why states are taking action themselves instead of waiting on the EPA.

We deserve better. We need new national standards to keep Americans safe. Tell the EPA to do their job and set real standards for C-8.

Do your job and set real standards for C-8 in our drinking water.

The current standard of less than 0.07 parts per billion is way too high. Studies clearly show that is a dangerous level of C-8.

Some states have adopted better standards, but many have not. The safety of drinking water should not depend on our addresses. Set safer, better national standards.
