Expand Medicaid in the State of Mississippi NOW

We, the undersigned, demand the immediate and full expansion of Medicaid in Mississippi.
It’s 2025, and Mississippi still refuses to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, despite having one of the highest uninsured rates in the nation. Hospitals are closing. People are dying without care. This is a manmade crisis rooted in political obstruction.
Expanding Medicaid would cover over 200,000 Mississippians, save rural hospitals from collapse, and bring billions in federal funding to our state. We are tired of waiting.
We demand:

A full and unconditional expansion of Medicaid - no delays, no work requirements, no barriers.

A special session or immediate floor vote on expansion.

Public commitment from legislative leaders to prioritize healthcare for all Mississippians.
We will not accept excuses. This is a matter of life and death. Mississippi must act now.
