We urge you to support France's call for Francesca Albanese to be removed from her UN position.

“She presents herself as a UN independent expert. She is neither an expert nor independent — she is a political activist who stirs up hate,” said Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot before the French National Assembly. We agree.​

Indeed, Francesca Albanese’s record is marked by persistent incitement of antisemitism and material support for terrorist organizations, as documented in UN Watch’s report, “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.”

Here are but a few of Albanese's disgraceful statements and actions promoting antisemitism and terrorism:

Albanese wrote that “America is subjugated by the Jewish Lobby,” in an UNRWA fundraiser letter that she posted on Facebook. She was condemned by the U.S. Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism.
Albanese routinely portrays Israelis as Nazis.
In November 2022, Albanese participated in a Hamas-organized conference, and told ​an audience of senior terrorists: “You have a right to resist.”
Since October 7th, Albanese has systematically whitewashed Hamas’ atrocities.
Albanese denied that the October 7th pogrom was the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust.
France wrote to her that “The October 7 massacre is the biggest antisemitic massacre of the 21st century,” and “to deny it is wrong.” France said it was “scandalous” and “a disgrace” for her “to appear to justify it, by dragging in the name of the United Nations.”
Germany said it was “appalling” for the Special Rapporteur “to justify the horrific terror attacks and to “deny their antisemitic nature.” Germany said Albanese’s remarks were “a disgrace.”
In July 2024, Albanese endorsed comparing Israel’s Prime Minister to Adolf Hitler.
In August 2024, Albanese compared Israel’s policies to that of the Nazis, referring to Gaza as “the largest and most shameful concentration camp of the 21st century.”
In October 2024, Albanese compared Israel to the “Third Reich” and its “pure race” laws.
As a result, Francesca Albanese is the first UN Special Rapporteur in history to have been condemned​ by France, Germany, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands, for antisemitism, Holocaust inversion, and gross ethical abuses.

As documented​ by UN Watch, the purported renewal of Albanese's UN term in April 2025 ​was carried out completely illegally, in disregard to legal objections that were submitted by governments and NGOs, and in gross violation of the UN's own procedures, and therefore she no longer benefits from any diplomatic immunity.

Accordingly, we call on all countries who oppose antisemitism and the legitimization of terrorism, and who support the founding principle of the United Nations Charter, to demand the immediate removal of Francesca Albanese from the UN.
