Extend the Moratorium on Evictions in Pennsylvania
Gov. Tom Wolf & the Pennsylvania General Assembly
Many Pennsylvanians have lost their income and fallen behind on their rent and mortgages due to COVID-19. While rental assistance is on the way, it is likely to be insufficient and won't arrive before the State's moratorium on evictions and foreclosures ends on July 10.
Sign this petition to Governor Wolf and our other elected officials urging them to extend the eviction moratorium so we don't have a homelessness crisis on our hands July 11th.

We are calling on you to once again extend the moratorium on evictions and foreclosures in Pennsylvania. The current moratorium is set to expire on July 10th, but applications for the rental assistance funds the State approved aren't even being accepted until July 6th. We need to give renters and homeowners time to apply for and receive assistance to avoid a surge of evictions across the state. Federal housing agencies - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - have already extended their moratorium until the end of August, and at a minimum, Pennsylvania should follow suit.
