Green Dot is pushing us to accept a contract far below what we have called for as a union. At present, they are offering an insulting 1% raise and 3 days removed from our 193 day calendar. Green Dot believes we aren’t willing to fight for a better contract. Show GDPS and AMU Leadership that we’re strong! AMU members won’t go down without a fight!

As AMU members, we made our demands clear in last year’s bargaining survey.
The insulting counteroffers made by Green Dot demonstrate an unwillingness to meet the needs of our teachers and communities.
They believe that ultimately, we will take whatever they throw our way. That they can hike up the salaries of Cristina de Jesus and others at home office by tens of thousands of dollars while telling us that raises are out of the budget.
They think that we won’t do anything about it!
Reduced class sizes and caseloads, a more manageable calendar and PD schedule, real pay raises. These are ours if we fight for them.
In signing this petition, I am declaring my readiness to engage in confrontational collective action. We are willing to go to the picket lines!
