“Hi good evening, my name is José Cruz Morales. I’m currently detained at Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA. I have been here for 11 days. I need urgent medical help due to a health problem with my chest. I’m receiving no proper medical help here. My chest is swollen and I’m scared for my health.

They only gave me pills for the pain. But the pills do not help. The pain continues to get worse.

I was told I have to wait 2-3 months to receive an MRI appointment. Earlier today, my shoes were stolen. Not sure if it was does purposely or not but I was not able to receive a visit or go to medical because I did not have shoes.

My next court date is on Friday, August 7. I’m a father of two daughters. I’ve been in the United States for 19 years. A few months ago, I began my business of landscaping.

Any type of support from the public. I will glady appreciate it. I need to recieve proper medical help now. I can’t wait any longer. Thank you.”
