“Hi, my name is Lorena Melara Claros. I’m Salvadorean. I’m appealing my case here in Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA. I would really appreciate the help from the public. I’ve been detained for 3 months. I already had my court hearing a few weeks ago. I have my next court hearing on August 15. I’m trying to seek asylum because I’m afraid to go back to El Salvador. I would like the support to stay here. I have two young daughters, who are in El Salvador but I want to bring them here to give them a future they deserve. Any type of support that I can get. I would appreciate it, god bless you”
