Genocide Profiteers Off Our Campus!

Colorado State University, Woodward Inc.

Anti-Imperialism is core to our beliefs as socialists, it cannot be removed from the institutions of capitalism and racism that are central points of everything we stand to tear down and replace with self-determination and socialism. Signing this petition will demonstrate that the student masses are against war mongers and genocide profiteers having their hands in the affairs of our university.

Petition: GENOCIDE PROFITEERS OFF OUR CAMPUS!

We have witnessed two years of genocide carried out by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza. As of February 17th, 2026, at least 71,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been murdered since October 2023, including at least 20,000 children (Mansour, 2026). This count is a vast underestimate which does not count Palestinians missing, trapped under rubble, or deprived of food, water, or medical care. In addition, 92 percent of all homes and about 70 percent of all infrastructure has been destroyed (Doctors Without Borders, 2025). The genocide against Palestinians is still ongoing. At least 600 Palestinians in Gaza have been murdered since the October 2025 ceasefire, and virtually the entire population of Gaza is subject to starvation, lack of medical care, and displacement (Mansour, 2026).

The occupation of historic Palestine and the ongoing genocide of Palestinians is made possible by corporations in the U.S. military industrial complex who supply Israel with missiles, bombs, vehicles, drones, computers, artificial intelligence, and other technologies needed to carry out apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and genocide (UNHRC, 2025).

Despite the mass suffering in Palestine, on February 26, 2026, CSU is inviting three corporations who support Israel's genocide of Palestinians to participate in a career fair. These corporations are Caterpillar, Hewlett Packard, and Woodward. CSU students and Fort Collins community members are saying it loud and clear: GENOCIDE PROFITEERS OFF OUR CAMPUS!

Caterpillar sells D-9 bulldozers and other vehicles to Israel, often through special foreign military sales (DSCA, 2025; Fabian, 2025). Caterpillar vehicles are used to demolish Palestinian homes in Gaza and the West Bank (CCR, 2007). These vehicles have also been used by the Israeli occupation forces to murder Palestinians and pro-Palestinian activists such as Rachel Corrie, an American activist who was defending homes in Rafah when she was crushed to death by a bulldozer operated by the Israeli Occupation Forces in 2003 ().

Hewlett Packard branded companies (including Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Hewlett Packard Inc.) and its Israeli subsidiaries have contracted both hardware and software to the Israeli occupation (UNHRC, 2025). HP-E is contracted by Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority to provide servers that house Israel’s population registry and enforce Palestinians' restriction of movement and inferiority of rights. HP-E also has an ongoing contract with Israeli police to maintain their data center. Such services make Israeli apartheid, occupation, and genocide possible (BDS, n.d.).

Woodward is an aerospace manufacturer headquartered in Fort Collins. Woodward is part of the supply chain of weapons used by Israel, including fin control actuation systems for Boeing's JDAM kits and GBU-39 bombs. Israel used two GBU-39 bombs in its May 26, 2024, airstrike on a refugee camp in Rafah, which killed at least 45 people. In this attack, Palestinian civilians were burned alive. Bomb fragments found in Rafah, Gaza showed serial numbers traced to production by Woodward (Stein, Treibert, and Willis, 2024). Furthermore, financial reports indicate that a significant portion of Woodwards’ revenue comes from munitions sales (Klamann, 2024).

These three companies have violated our CSU community values, have no place on our campus, and have no business recruiting CSU students. It is especially unconscionable that CSU continues to foster relationships with Woodward when Fort Collins community members and organizations like NoCo4Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Students for Justice in Palestine have protested against Woodward's participation in the genocide of Palestinians since 2024. CSU cannot claim to nurture inclusive excellence while funneling students to work on the mass murder of Palestinian children. CSU cannot claim to care about democracy and freedom when the companies it supports are eliminating the liberty and fundamental human rights of Palestinians. CSU cannot claim to care about sustainability when the companies it invites to campus senselessly bomb indigenous land and destroy the environment. We have a humanitarian, moral, and principled obligation to reject all connections to companies that participate in genocide.

We implore readers to sign this petition to demand that CSU eliminates all connections to Woodward. This includes banning Woodward from CSU career fairs, banning Woodward from advertising on campus, and suspending all partnership programs with Woodward, including internships. We are specifically targeting Woodward because they are headquartered in Fort Collins and have had a long-standing relationship with CSU. Woodward presents the most direct connection between CSU, the U.S. empire, and Zionist settler colonialism. Over time, we will escalate to demand that CSU pursue relationships with ethical and socially responsible companies instead of supporting companies like Caterpillar, Hewlett Packard, and others in the military industrial complex who profit from genocide and endless war. Please sign this petition and share far and wide.

In solidarity,

Students for Justice in Palestine
