To the people of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield we need answers! We are a whole community of people concerned for the care and treatment of Harrison Hazlett. A Seven year old boy fighting for his life. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma that has spread again to his lungs. His team of doctors said this treatment was the best course of action to help Harry SURVIVE this awful disease. Harrisons treatment was denied on Monday 3/14/22 by BCBS. We are attempting to get them to make this right. This is for a child. No kid should ever be denied a treatment that was determined to be the best approach by a team of doctors who are actively practicing medicine and not sitting behind a desk for a billion dollar industry.
