Hold Member Elections Now at Dhamma Dena
Board of Directors, Dhamma Dena
Hold member elections now at Dhamma Dena. A member elected Board would more closely align with our values of transparency, inclusion, interdependence, and of collective wisdom. Support Dhamma Dena’s liberatory vision of a dharma that centers Black, Indigenous, disabled, trans, feminist, people of color, and queer communities, as outlined on We Are Dhamma Dena's website: https://wearedd.org

I call for Dhamma Dena to have a member-elected board with recurring elections on a fixed, transparent cycle for all seats, and to amend the bylaws accordingly to support Dhamma Dena’s liberatory vision of a dharma that centers Black, Indigenous, disabled, trans, feminist, people of color, and queer communities, as outlined on We Are Dhamma Dena's website: https://wearedd.org
It is we, the Dhamma Dena sangha, who have been actively sustaining the center through our practice, volunteer labor, relationships, teaching, and donations in recent years. We love Dhamma Dena, a refuge built of generosity and joy by generations of dedicated teachers and practitioners before us, and we are ready and able to support this center to continue to thrive. We can only do this with leadership that we elect and trust to carry out the mission and values that make this center so uniquely and deeply precious.
