As a dedicated member of the Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) Co-op, I wish to express my deep commitment to the well-being and fair treatment of all REI workers. I believe that their work is not only integral to the services and products I value but also to the overall success and reputation of the Co-op.

Recognizing the importance of their roles, I stand firmly in solidarity with REI workers who are taking steps to unionize and fight for living wages, safe working conditions, affordable healthcare, job security, and a fair grievance process.

By unionizing, REI workers will have a strong collective voice to negotiate their terms of employment, protect their rights, and secure their livelihoods. Therefore, I pledge my support for REI workers' right to unionize without fear of retaliation and call on REI to voluntarily recognize all stores who wish to unionize.

I firmly believe that REI's success lies in the happiness, well-being, and empowerment of its workers, and therefore, I commit to the following:

To actively voice my support for REI workers' right to unionize, both within my personal networks and within the broader REI community.

To use my influence as a customer and member to hold REI accountable, by expressing my concerns about the company's response to the unionizing efforts and by urging the company to act responsibly and ethically.

To take action when called upon by my local REI Union chapter in support of its workers' right to unionize, working with and within my community as workers fight for the dignity, respect, and fairness they deserve.

In signing this pledge, I am stating to both REI's management and the broader public that I value the people who make my outdoor adventures possible as much as I value the products and services they provide.
