If Trump interferes with the election, Tucson shuts down.

The Pledge:

If Trump cancels the midterm elections or interferes with them in any way, I will stop: no work, no school, no shopping — and I'll join daily protests nonviolently, to the best of my ability, for as long as it takes.

"We shouldn't even have an election." is what Trump said in January.

He's crossed a lot of lines. These are the ones we won't let him cross. If any of this happens, in Southern Arizona or anywhere else, Tucson shuts down:

Ballot boxes seized before they're counted
ICE or troops sent to the polls
Federal agents or militia blocking people from voting
The count stopped, for any reason
Votes counted or certified behind closed doors
Valid ballots thrown out
Legally elected leaders refused their seats
Mass arrests of organizers, or worse

More than 600 organizations have committed to a national shutdown if he tries it. Nine cities — 30% of the U.S. economy — are ready to stop. Tucson must do our part.
