In the past year, tens of thousands of us have signed petitions and spoken out for the 15% restorative pay increase we need to bring our NHS back to safety.

Now, the Government has come out with an offer of just 1%. The Royal College of Nursing has announced preparations for strike action if needed. But for any strike action to be agreed, it legally requires 50% of all nurses to vote in the ballot.

This Government and our unions need to know that we are serious in standing behind 15%, and possible strike action isn’t an empty threat.
