Since the Dobbs decision it is vital that we protect the right to abortion in New York state and protect our neighbors from discrimination in our communities.
Opposing questions 2-6 is essential to protect the democratic principles of New York City governance. Separation of powers is vital to our system of governance and the mayor stifling that to prevent regulation of the NYPD and funding our social services is unconscionable. Additionally, the proposed regulations on street vendors may disproportionately impact low-income entrepreneurs and limit their economic opportunities, exacerbating inequality in an already struggling economy.
