We're approaching winter. This is one of the coldest seasons we've had in decades, and with the climate crisis growing more near, it's not going to get warmer. NYCHA is receiving $450 million for boiler and elevator upgrades...but won't see the effects for another three years at least. NYCHA tenants—especially our most vulnerable children and elderly—need consistent heat and hot water NOW. Sign this petition to tell NYCHA: enough is enough. We need justice for NYCHA tenants now.

Our communities need quality affordable housing NOW. Winter is coming, and lives are on the line. Our most vulnerable—young children and our elderly—are most at risk. We can't throw our community to the wayside.
I along with hundreds of other neighbors, community members, friends, New Yorkers, and Americans, am calling for justice for NYCHA tenants. Heat and hot water aren't luxuries, they're necessities. Every person has a right to adequate housing.
