Since January, workers at UCLA Health's call center have been fighting back against an "AI customer service platform" being forced onto our work. This software has the potential to violate patient and employee privacy, replace our experienced judgment with AI approximations, and undermine our Union-guaranteed rights to a fair and equitable workplace!
Despite the potential impacts of this software, UCLA Health has refused to meet with our Teamsters Local 2010 union to negotiate its implementation. This is a major change for both workers and patients--UCLA must pause implementation and meet with UCLA employees and our Union representatives! AI can't replace our work!
