Keep ICE off of EKU's Campus

EKU Administration

The spirit of higher education is built on the promise of opportunity, not exclusion. But without clear protections and guarantees from administration our campus remains vulnerable to the unconstitutional behavior of ICE, surveillance technology, and a climate of fear that undermines that very spirit and basic human dignity. We cannot, and WE WILL NOT stand idly by whilst students, faculty and staff face the threat of racial profiling or constitutional violations on the very ground where they should feel safest. By signing this petition, you are demanding that EKU choose courage over complicity:

•Block ICE from non-public areas and student data without a judicial warrant

•Use our emergency alert system as a shield

•Fund legal defense and Know Your Rights resources

•Cancel any existing or future surveillance contracts with companies like Flock Safety that enable immigration enforcement.

No one should have to live in fear. These are not radical ideas. They are just basic demands for safety, privacy, and human dignity. And to be perfectly clear, we are in this position in part because party politics on both sides have consistently failed our communities, treating people like political bargaining chips rather than human beings. Every signature sends a clear message to EKU's administration. Sign the petition, share it, and show up when it matters. A signature alone will not stop ICE, but an organized campus community might.
