Keep Our Streets Human—Stop Driverless Cars Across the Country

Waymo’s driverless cars are appearing in more and more U.S. cities, and we have to stop them before it’s too late.

In many places, these vehicles are still in the testing phase, often with a human operator behind the wheel. But tech companies are pushing hard for fully autonomous robotaxis—vehicles with no driver on board—to become the new norm. We’re asking you to sign our petition to stop them.

Autonomous vehicles are unsafe, unproven, and unwanted. We say NO.

We demand:

A nationwide ban on driverless car testing and commercial operation until full safety, labor, and community impact studies are completed
No permits issued to companies like Waymo to launch robotaxi services in our communities
Full transparency and public hearings before any new legislation or pilot programs are approved
Investment in public transportation and infrastructure that actually serve working people
Job protections for app-based and professional drivers whose livelihoods are under threat

We need safe streets, real jobs, and reliable public transit, not more machines.

In cities like San Francisco, Phoenix, and Atlanta, Waymo vehicles have already blocked ambulances, jammed intersections, and confused pedestrians and cyclists. They’ve caused chaos, and they’re still being allowed to expand.

At the same time, millions of drivers across the country rely on rideshare and delivery work to make ends meet. These unproven technologies threaten to erase those jobs with no oversight or safety net.

And in cities already struggling with traffic congestion, lack of transit funding, and fragile infrastructure, autonomous vehicles don’t solve problems, they make them worse.

We deserve streets designed for people, not tech experiments pushed by billion-dollar corporations.
