I respectfully ask the Blissfield Township Board and Planning Commission to take the necessary steps to bring the benefits of solar development to our community and the opportunity to lead the way in the clean energy transition.

As a resident of Blissfield Township, I’m in favor of the revenue that solar can provide to schools, roads, and other public services.

Solar will also serve to protect our agricultural land from being permanently developed for residential or commercial use.

As a firm believer in private property rights, I stand with landowners who should be allowed to harvest whatever cash crop they choose on their own land, including solar.

I back pro-solar zoning 100% and support Blissfield Township officials working to craft the regulations to bring the maximum benefit that solar development has to offer to the residents of this township.
