LIZANDRO AND DIEGO CLAROS

U.S. Congressman

...It was unfair to deport Lizandro and Diego Claros back to a country they are not familiarized with; they were brought to the U.S when they were children. They do not belong in El Salvador. We come from a honest and hardworking family who never committed a crime. I would like this to be a nightmare but unfortunately it is reality. I have faith in God that my siblings will be back in the U.S. and continue with their education. Please I ask each and everyone of you to help me gather as many signatures to show the congressman that we will never give up and as a community we have united to help Lizandro and Diego come back. May god bless you all! ❤️

To the U.S Congressman:

My name is Fatima M. Claros Saravia. I am 25 years old. I am the sister of Lizandro and Diego Claros Saravia who were deported to Jucuapa, El Salvador on August 2, 2017. On Friday July 28, 2017, Lizandro and Diego checked in with ICE, as they are supposed to routinely do. Lizandro recently graduated from Quince Orchard High School and had received a scholarship in North Carolina to play soccer. He requested permission to continue his check-ins with ICE in North Carolina when he moved. Due to their request and trying to follow the law my two siblings were deported without giving them a chance for a judge to hear the case.
We the undersigned respondent plead an opportunity for a Motion to Reopen for Lizandro and Diego Claros Saravia. By granting this motion we hope to be able to provide enough evidence to support the case. My family and I understand that my siblings got deported, but we believe it was unfair to deport two young men who never committed a crime. Lizandro and Diego were minors when they came to the U.S. They were under the supervision of my parents; for which they were not able to make a decision on their own. Furthermore, we plead you to grant our request. If the motion to reopen gets granted Lizandro and Diego are prepared to plead for a chance to come back to the U.S. We have collected signatures from the community who also believe that my siblings deportation was unfair. By signing they hope to have an opportunity to show the congressman how this case has caused extreme hardship within our family and community.
Wherefore, we respectfully request the congressman to grant the relief sought herein and reserve to Lizandro and Diego Claros Saravia an opportunity to reopen the case for such other and further relief may deem just and proper.
