MAKE AMAZON PAY

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy

This week is Amazon’s two-day Prime promotion, a time when warehouse workers are pushed to the brink — working mandatory overtime hours against the backdrop of an ongoing Amazon injury crisis driven by corporate greed. In fact, Amazon’s injury rate is twice as high as the rest of the warehouse industry.

STL8 workers recently filed an OSHA complaint about their inhumane rates of work, the poor ergonomic conditions in the workplace, and the abusive and neglectful treatment from AmCare, Amazon’s in-house health facility, following job-related injuries.

It's past time to hold Amazon CEO Andy Jassy accountable to better pay and safer work for the people making his profits.

You are responsible for an injury crisis among the STL8 warehouse workers -- and Amazon warehouse workers nationwide -- who work in dangerous conditions to create your personal wealth and the profits of your company.

It's past time for you to treat your workers like the human beings they are. You can do this by lowering inhumane work rates, ensuring adequate time for rest on the job, and providing livable wages to Amazon workers.
