Make Corporations Pay

Tennessee CEOs

Did you know that almost 60% of corporations in Tennessee are paying ZERO in Tennessee business income taxes, according to a new report. That even includes 65 corporations that reported more than $1 Billion in taxable income to the federal government.

While some of the biggest corporations are paying nothing, Tennessee families pay among the highest sales and grocery taxes in the country. Of all the state revenues collected in Tennessee, business income taxes only account for about 20%, while more than 60% comes from high sales tax. As a result, our schools are underfunded, our roads have potholes, our water is not always safe to drink, and communities don't get the vital services we all need.

We're demanding corporations pay what they owe so we can fund our communities. Join us by adding your name and help us build a Tennessee for all of us!
