Make the University of Minnesota Duluth a Sanctuary Campus

During this time of heightened crack down on Immigrants, international and trans students, and anyone who speaks against the Trump Administration in general, it is crucially important that the University of Minnesota and UMD takes steps to protect its students. The US government is doing everything it can to take away everyone's freedom of speech and aggressively targets pro-Palestine anti-Zionist students protesting Israel's genocide in Gaza. Therefor we demand that UMD makes itself a sanctuary campus in order to protect its student's safety and freedom of speech.
