Help Men With Incontinence Retain Dignity and Hygiene: Place sanitary disposal bins in all public toilet stalls.

Corporations and Businesses

Urinary and fecal incontinence is beyond the control of many men, particularly those who were treated for prostate and colon cancer. Pads, diapers and colostomy bags help men stay mobile and active by capturing discharges until they can be discarded, using a toilet stall for privacy and dignity preservation.  Women's toilet stalls have bins and bags for discarding sanitary napkins and urinary pads, but men's toilet stalls do not.

Carrying pads, diapers and colostomy bags from toilets into the more public restroom area is unsanitary and embarrassing.

Sanitary waste disposal bins in men's toilet stalls will:

  • Improve hygiene and public health.
  • Improve access to public spaces.
  • Increase customer growth, business revenue and good will.

We will ask major corporations and businesses who provide public restrooms, such as restaurant chains, "Big Box" stores and entertainment facilities, to take the lead in providing sanitary disposal bins in men's toilet stalls.

We the undersigned call for all of your public restrooms to include sanitary waste disposal bins in all toilet stalls.

This effort is being managed by the national nonprofit men's cancer support group network, Malecare Cancer Support.  Please sign the petition, on the right side column.  Comments are optional.

Thank you for your support!
