Maxine Waters: Impeach Trump!
Representative Maxine Waters
The time has come. President Trump should be removed from Office by Impeachment.
Trump’s firing of F.B.I. director James Comey is a gross attempt to undermine an investigation that could reveal that Trump—or his aides—are guilty of working with the Russian government to deliberately manipulate the 2016 election for their own benefit.
Impeachment begins in the US House of Representatives, when a member chooses to present charges to the House Judiciary Committee. We are calling on Rep. Maxine Waters, who has been a fierce and courageous critic of the Trump administration and a stalwart defender of our democracy, to take up the call and initiate the process.
We have endured the 45th president of the United States for long enough. He came to power through an election marred with massive voter suppression only to abuse his office for personal profit and to pursue a greedy and bigoted agenda that has made him the least popular president in the history of the country at this point in his term.
Since Trump's inauguration, almost one million Americans have signed a petition calling for his impeachment. If we get at least 5,000 signatures to add to that total, we'll deliver them in-person to Rep. Waters to make our appeal.
A special prosecutor is not enough. Sign this petition to let Rep. Maxine Waters know you support her to commence impeachment proceedings in the US House of Representatives in correspondence with Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution.

Trump's firing of F.B.I. director James Comey is tyrannical behavior worthy of impeachment. It is a gross attempt to undermine an investigation that could reveal that Trump—or his aides—are guilty of working with a foreign rival to deliberately manipulate and subvert American democracy for their own benefit.
You have been a fierce and righteous critic of Donald Trump and a stalwart defender of democracy. We therefore urge you to initiate impeachment proceedings in the US House of Representatives by presenting charges to the House Judiciary Committee.
We have endured the 45th president of the United States for long enough. He arrived in power through an election marred with massive voter suppression only to abuse the office for personal profit and to pursue a greedy and bigoted agenda that has made him the least popular president in the history of the country at this point in his term.
Appointing a special prosecutor is not enough. We ask that you immediately commence impeachment proceedings in correspondence with Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution.
