Prime Minister Mark Carney
Migrant feed and take care of our communities. We need them. They deserve respect and status for all.

Canada is facing two urgent, intersecting crises: a care crisis and a food affordability crisis. And the workers already solving both are being pushed out.
Nearly 100,000 migrant workers plant, harvest, and process the food on Canadian tables. Tens of thousands more care for our seniors, children, and disabled loved ones in long-term care homes, child-care centres, and hospitals. These workers pay taxes, contribute to EI and CPP, and hold entire communities together - often while separated from their own families.
They deserve rights and protections, not scapegoating and exclusion.
We call on Prime Minister Mark Carney to:
* Grant permanent resident status to all migrant farm, food processing, fishery, and care workers - including undocumented workers
* Remove employer dependency, caps, and language barriers from all PR programs.
* Issue emergency open work permits to workers with expiring or expired permits
