MPS Teachers Need TIME to UNPACK & Prepare Classrooms for Our Students
ALL MPS School Board Members

Due to decades of defunding of public education by state lawmakers and MPS Administration's negligence, it was discovered last school year that multiple buildings had dangerous levels of lead, creating potentially unsafe learning and working conditions for students and staff. To facilitate lead stabilization, at the end of last school year MPS administration forced teachers to pack up sometimes years' worth of classroom materials with no additional paid time. Many teachers spent numerous hours early in the morning, on evenings and on weekends packing up their classrooms.
