National Pay Rates for 6th Form Teachers at Capital City College

For over 30 years teachers at The 6th Form @ Angel (formerly City & Islington 6th Form College) have been paid the nationally agreed rate of pay for 6th form college teachers. In 2025 the new CEO Angela Joyce refused to implement the agreed between the SFCA and the teaching unions. 6th form teachers at the college are being paid £1500 less than other sixth form college teachers. We call on the Secretary of State for Education to intervene to resolve this dispute to ensure that Capital City College honours their commitment to the SFCA and their staff.
