Support a moratorium on new fossil fuel projects in New Jersey!

There are 12 new fossil fuel projects up for permits this year in New Jersey alone. If these projects pass, they will pollute the air we breathe, poison our water, and put our families at risk of climate crisis. If New Jersey's goal is to go 100% Clean Renewable Energy by 2050, we need to stop building new pipelines. This is about evolving from the old, dirty, fossil fuels that poison our lives and our families. We can evolve to a new age of limitless energy, including off shore wind and solar farms. Sign this petition if you think there should be NO NEW FOSSIL FUEL PROJECTS in New Jersey, and tell Governor Murphy that you support a moratorium on all new fossil fuel projects!
Right now, New Jersey's Energy Master Plan (EMP) includes dirty, natural gas in New Jersey's plan. Sign this petition to tell New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy that New Jersey must go 100% renewable, clean, energy, by building more offshore wind farms that will create limitless energy to power our homes. We know that we don't have to pollute the air that we all breathe in order to power our lives. New technologies are available for cheaper than the price we pay for fossil fuels. We need 100% renewable and clean energy, NOW! Sign this petition to also tell New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy we need to exclude natural gas from the EMP and go 100% clean energy by 2030!

This is to be added to the public comment on the Energy Master Plan. Please protect our families and protect their right to fresh air, clean water, beautiful beaches and a healthy environment. Please protect our forests, our shores, our businesses, and our homes, from the greed of the fossil fuel companies, whose only product poisons our air and water. We need to put an end to new fossil fuel projects that are seeking review, and we need a moratorium on all new fossil fuel projects in the Energy Master Plan. If we are going to go 100% renewable energy, it demands bold action on this issue, by you, whom we entrusted to protect us, the People.
The undersigned respectfully request that the Energy Master Plan includes a moratorium on all new fossil fuel projects, does not include gas in the Energy Master Plan, and instead switches New Jersey to 100% renewable, clean, limitless energy of off shore wind and solar panel farms by 2030.
